I know not everyone likes Buckeye CableSystem, but it's nice to see a local/smaller cable company get this award.

Mt only problem with Buckeye is because they are the only cable in town their prices are high. Other cities which have competing cable systems are much lower in price.
there are options in toledo. At&t, dish, etc. I also believe you get what you pay for. Buckeye has great customer service. To me that's priceless.

Buckeye sucks! Like Jackie said, their rates are ridiculous, always increasing every year, and what do we get in terms of new programming every year to justify the higher rates? The only way to improve on a product or service is to have competition, and since the city has an agreement with Buckeye to be the only cable, we're stuck with an inferior service.
renegade, you want inferior service, move into a Time Warner coverage area. I had Buckeye since day one until 2 years ago, when I moved to Northwood and got stuck with TW, and we miss Buckeye SO MUCH!! Talk about a piss-poor choice of stations and crappy service, they got it all and it's $10 MORE a month for the TV/Phone/internet package than Buckeye was. The net has been fine but I'm so sorry for my husband, The Huge TV Watcher, he really got screwed. We have family members who have had nothing but problems with AT&T and friends who are really dissatisfied with Dish. Be glad you have a company like Buckeye running your cable, the alternatives SUCK!!!!
Do I need to mention how a Buckeye employee shut down a site critical of Block Communications? That's about second only to China in terms of Internet censorship and control of the media.

Not talking about politics, just talking about the service.
Since moving to Toledo 3 years ago, I have nothing but praise for Buckeye. They are somewhat high in price, but you get what you pay for.

Buckeye has provided a full 1920×1080 signal since 1080i was available on selected channels. The bitrates are excellent (compared to the Sats)and folks there have been responsive to my tech needs. Not a fan of the Blocks but Buckeye is a fine cable service.
