This story amazed even cynical me

I watched this yesterday and was dumbfounded. Anymore, that takes a lot to do.

What hath the welfare state wrought?

YouTube: I Got 15 Kids & 3 Babydaddys-SOMEONE'S GONNA PAY FOR ME & MY KIDS!!!

The comment trolls on YouTube of course immediately made it about race, but eff that. It's the same story as the "Octomom". Somewhere along the line, there is thinking in this country that your irresponsibility is my problem. WTF? White, black, brown, yellow....15 kids and not yet 40 years old??? And that's the state's/welfare agency's/taxpayer's problem? We aren't doing enough???

I feel so terribly for those kids who have very little chance at a bright future with this woman as their mother.

Like I said, it takes a lot to shock me. This did it.

It's a 10 minute montage of this woman's journey over the last week, pieced together from news reports from NBC, ABC, and Fox. Unreal...

Close your legs. Really the dad talking about having the kids placed with others step up and be a father/dad not just a sperm donor

I blame the Republicans and the 1% for not giving her money to have #16.

Honestly though this is the real problem with our welfare system, she has grown up in a culture where Uncle Sam gives your free food, room and board, free cell phones, and in some cases free cars, plus a raise for every new life you bring into this world. She honestly doesn't believe she is responsible to pay for anything. And we wonder why schools have funding problems, with 15 kids and nobody paying taxes something is going to break. Lots of poor people are having children at a much faster rate than employed families because employed families have to worry about where the next meal is going to come from.

Our social systems break people at birth, that's the problem more so than the dollars spent. She will never be anything in this life and it's because of the culture she was raised in. All funded by taxpayer dollars.

I'm for spending the same amount or maybe more money than we are currently spending to help those in need if the programs actually worked.

Has anyone here seen the movie Idiocracy? The stupid breed like fruit flies, while the intelligent breed less or not at all.

Idiocracy was great, and frightening .

"As the 21st century began, human evolution was at a turning point. Natural selection, the process by which the strongest, the smartest, the fastest, reproduced in greater numbers than the rest, a process which had once favored the noblest traits of man, now began to favor different traits. Most science fiction of the day predicted a future that was more civilized and more intelligent. But as time went on, things seemed to be heading in the opposite direction. A dumbing down. How did this happen? Evolution does not necessarily reward intelligence. With no natural predators to thin the herd, it began to simply reward those who reproduced the most, and left the intelligent to become an endangered species. "

This woman appears to have a mental illness. Couple that with the ability to reproduce and you have a recipe for trouble.

That woman is disgusting....and only one of many out there just like her , thinking that welfare is a "paycheck". It sickens me.

It is horrible, just horrible.

Tkd925 - Do you have any research that shows what percentage of welfare recepients have such large families? Or just average family size in a single parent welfare recipient situation?

I think its possible that part of the reason she made the news is because this is an unusual situation and not the norm. I'd like to know more about the actual statistics about who does get welfare , family size, ethnicity, time on welfare etc. Anbody got any real data?

She should contact Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton about helping her start a child day care center.

Then charge the government $15.00 a day - per child, for child care services, for each of her 15 children.

Our next TT meetup should be at a bar that will let us show "Idiocracy" on a big screen TV! It really is an amazing movie. I know some teachers who believe it's a valid portrait of cultural change in our lifetimes. ;-)

@ Holland,no I don't have any data, it was knee-jerk reaction to the video. I'm sure she made the news because having that many kids is unusual today. But there are plenty of others that have multiple kids {and multiple father's} who really do think that they are "owed" money, housing, and food assistance just because they have them out of wedlock. I live in East Toledo and get to see these losers every day. I've seen my neighborhood decline drastically over the last 10 years, and don't see it getting better anytime soon. That's just my opinion from what I have seen and heard living here.

People like this eventually will perish. The world simply will run out of resources to continue supporting their dependence and stupidity.

Initially, since they are large in number, they will prey on the naive, who really think helping them is the solution.

However, once the naive either are drained of their own funds, or wake up to the reality that you cannot change the spots on leopards, these losers will attempt to continue robbing the rest of us, as they already have been doing for too long), who already know the truth.

People like this woman are why democracy can be dangerous. She is also a glaring example why liberal welfare policies all need to be overturned.

The problem is simple. We fed, clothed, and paid that woman after her first child. Then she had a second child and each month we gave her even more free food, and money. She then had a 3rd, 4th, and so on up to now 15 kids.

If you continue feeding rats, you will see more rats. The solution to reduce the number of kids people like this woman are having is to quit feeding them.

So poor kids are like rats? Funny how many of the same people would keep her from having an abortion are happy to watch the kids starve to death. For many life ends at birth...

Yeah, in many ways, this woman and her offspring are worse than rats. They are similar to parasites. She as well as her children are taking others' resources, without producing anything productive in order to survive.

It wouldn't matter who would try to keep her from having an abortion. If she knew she herself would be responsible for paying to support her own children, she would take whatever necessary measures to not have as many of them.

Good one AF and I uprated it here. Now instead of the comedy act, how about pulling some money out of your wallet for that woman and her 15 kids? LOL
