In years past, our office has given gifts to places that refer business to us. I've sent boxes of cookies from the Cookie Lady, gift baskets with delectables from Churchills, etc. but am looking for something different. Does anyone have any suggestions on places to get something to send to these vendors, preferably locally owned? Budget would probably be under $50 each. Thanks, TT!

Is Taste of Toledo still in business?
They are a company that puts together gift baskets using local products. A company I worked for in the past used them.
Found a website for them...

6833 Angola Rd, Holland

Thanks Mom2! I was looking for a local gift basket as well! Perfect.
I've received gift bags of Flying Rhino's chocolates in past years and loved each and every delicious bite.
There are a few locally owned gift basket stores in town - there is one over on Angeloa or McCord...

The Angola McCord Rd store is Taste of Toledo. She's been there quite some time. I only hear good.
Not Toledo but I have used Dietschs out of Findlay on occassion.

There's a storefront downtown on Monroe Street, near 5th 3rd Field, with a painted display window. "Rensch's" is the name. There was an article about their gourmet food gift boxes in the Blade several years ago. Nuts, cheeses, etc. The place has never looked open to me (when I drive by), but apparently she's been in business for 50 years or more.
