Any recommendations where to buy commercial grade security cameras locally? The one vendor I was using is no longer reliable and need to get some fairly quickly. Would rather buy locally than online to save time and give local preference.
They need to be in a dome enclosure (able to withstand being hit with a bat), IR for night viewing, with standard coax feed and 2 wire power.
Thanks TT, off to start calling around.
I've installed quite a few domed surveillance cameras in my time and NONE of them can withstand being hit repeatedly with a bat.
I know you are against going online but you really can't beat the prices on them at Newegg.com, not much more than a installer pays wholesale.
Are you recording these to a computer or just running a feed to a monitor?
In house built computer running in-house designed software with 16 video feeds per machine.
Kinda need them asap, so far every place I've called locally requires drop shipping (Greybar, Virtual Surveillance). Was hoping to get them today or tomorrow so the system would be back up before the holiday vacation.
Most vandal resistant camera only withstand a minimum force as referenced above.Be careful on some manufacurers as they only rate their WP models to 14F, not good in Ohio.
If you can get me contact information, I can see what I have in my warehouse that would suit your needs or can order for you. Wire/Cable also available for DIY installation or I can provide also.
Hoops I sent you a private message with my Cell #. Thanks
Thank you very much Hoops :) Looking forward to doing business with you again in the future.
