First Time at the Huntington Center

Went to see the Harlem Globetrotters at the Huntington Center tonight. It was a good show and I was very impressed with the Huntington Center. The seating was comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful!!!

There has been comments about seat size, but I'm 6'4" and a big guy and I haven't had a problem.

It's a wonderful Arena, can't wait to go see the Walleye this Friday.

I'm a big guy and also had no problem with the seats. In my humble opinion, we're very lucky to have such a fantastic facility downtown.

I love the Huntington Center too. It is definitely a positive for Toledo!

Have been to a variety of events there - Walleye games, concerts, children's events. Even spent the night there once (Scout Sleepover). The experience has always been positive, and my tall (6' +) husband is fine with the seats as well.

I am nearly 6'6" and 220 lbs. and the seats are fine for me, and I have sat in a number of locations throughout the arena. My guess is that the complaints come from people who are a little wider than they ought to be.

God bless people struggling with their weight, but sometimes public places simply can't accommodate everyone's specific needs.

Would anyone really want a "fat" section at the HC?

Have only been once, but really liked the HC. Toledo did right...

Can't wait for Tool in Jan, love the HC for rock concerts. The sound for Rush was awesome! I still miss the Sweat Arena, but the HC is a better substitute than the convention center exhibition hall!

As someone who is "a little wider than they ought to be" I have found ways to be comfortable while being at the HC like sitting in the first three rows that are on the wood platform, those seats just seam wider, and always choosing seats at the end of a row on the aisles so I can more easily let someone by/out, and the club level seats are definitely narrower than the rest. Have been there many times and Harlem Globetrotters last night was another good time had by the all in the fam.

yep the worst seating experience i had was with a fat tub of lard that felt like he needed more of my seat than i did. The only other problem was taking a coat in the middle of winter. the only place to put your coat is between you and the seat. this takes away room between the seat in front of you. Even a simple locker system would prevent this.

Of course, these minor things wont keep from going again.
