Peckerheads

WTF is this "Peckerheads" stuff in the Blade and who came up with this name... I mean, it describes Toledo-Lucas County politicians to a T so I am convinced that it came out of Carty's mouth at some point... but do we really want Toledo being the butt of comedians everywhere?

No, I do not think that we really want Toledo to be the butt of comedians everywhere, or the butt of jokes, either. Why don't you take a leap of faith, anonymouscoward, and start the next recall petition drive to recall Finkbineder ?

I vote for the Toledo Liberty. It's an obvious nod to JEEP and we can use the American theme as well. Peckerheads is just idiotic.

It's heads and shoulders -- and uhhh at least one other body part -- above "Peckerheads"/"Woodpeckers."

I like the Toledo Liberty. Be even cooler if that American theme continued on as the team being affiliated with the Bluejackets.
