WTOL's FB page is reporting that a woman and her son tried to hold up Liberty Tax service...using a curling iron as a weapon.
How were they able to ID the criminal so quickly? Because she got her taxes done first, then attempted the robbery!
That's one smart criminal. Hand over all personal identifying info before brandishing the curling iron.
Sigh...how long before this one hits national odd news sites?

I wonder if she would have claimed the stolen money as income on next years taxes had she gotten away

You don't have to claim it has income as long as you return it in the same year you stole it. She has time.
If you outlaw curling irons, only criminals will have curling irons.

That story just kept getting better and better. By the time I got to the part about getting her taxes did, I think I about wet myself.
And then gettting chased down the street by a guy dressed as the Statue of Liberty.
