Bid-rigging, favoritism, misuse of funds, and document falsification

We had been warned that this might be bad, but it's even worse coming from this report. I am beginning to think we might need a full investigation of every department in this town and county, including, especially, the Health Department and all of its problems. I personally don't trust any of'em in government.

The lying, misuse of funding, payoffs and abuse of employment is rampant within city government.

After reading this I would guess that there will be more than a few heads on the chopping block. How many folks do you think have "Lawyered Up"?? There will be lots of finger pointing!

Remember, unless you vote for the "temporary" 3/4% tax, these dedicated city employees will lose their jobs!

I feel that there must be an investigation where these witnesses are put under oath and asked questions. Then if they lied there is a penalty to be paid.

I will never again vote for the 3/4% tax till they return it to the original formula for use.

You will never see any of them put under oath and questioned. Reason being? Because that would expose too much of what crooked operations and politics are running in this city.
I cannot believe they transferred some of these "criminals" to other divisions. Oh, yeah, they did get a cut in pay. BIG FREAKING DEAL. Replace them with someone who will appreciate having a job and actually care about what they do. Maybe even take a little pride in what they do.

David Welch is under consideration for City Admin in P-Burg. WTF??? He was a sanitarian who wormed his way to Toledo Streets, Bridges & Harbors & wound up as the Dir of Public Utilities. Soooo, why is he leaving? God help the suburbs.

At least we have a chance, albeit a small one, of changing a few things in the upcoming election. I don't vote for the 3/4% either. My home fire extinguishers are paid for, and I can defend myself as good as any police department, and I mean right now, too.
