I am looking for a new pcp, but one that specializes in internal medicine. I'm looking for someone with a good bedside manner, but also knows their stuff. Somebody in the vicinity of West Toledo or Sylvania. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Doctor suggestions?

I am older than dirt and do not always understand all these acronyms. What the hell is pcp? I thought it was an animal drug.
I have been a patient of Dr. Louis Reiner at Woodley Park Internal Medicine for about 15 years. Very sharp, listens to patients, and runs an efficient office, getting you in and out quickly for minor items while not rushing you for major stuff. I do not know if he is accepting new patients, though, but a phone call would answer this.

PCP = "primary care physician."

PCP = phenylcyclohexylpiperidine or Angel Dust. I hate the proliferation of this kind of communication. It obfuscates things. Let's speak plainly!
Family doctor (primary care physician or PCP) is a good start.
Pete's right. "Primary Care Physician" is probably an insurance term that has spread through the population.
There's no "probably" about it. Primary Care Physician is a health insurance term and is used in medical billing, most often as an excuse to deny claims.
I hate it when my PCP is not part of my HMO. Or his staff screws up the ICD to delay my claims. I never pay the balance above the UCR.
