"Sylvania" resume. You should build a "Toledo" resume if you intend to fun for a county office again! First, you have to stop paying income taxes, and be investigated by the Department of Internal Revenue. Second, you have to engage in questionable union business, and be investigated by the US Department of Labor. And last, you have to get a credit card that can access union funds, and earn a reputation of "living a life of lap dance luxury". The voters' will love you then, and the less actual experience you have, the better. You have your work cut out for you!

I hope Kevin Eff does not give up on running for public office.
I didn't get to vote for him in the primary, because I took a Republican ballot. However, he's someone I'd absolutely consider voting for in future elections.
I agree, he seems very intelligent, motivated, and of course, he's actually done business in the Recorders' office.
If you had to park Copeland in city or county government, the Recorder's office is probably the best place. Virtually impossible to screw up and absolutely no impact on the the lives of Lucas County citizens. That said, it would be nice if these guys would be willing to move aside, start collecting their pensions (if they haven't already) and let some younger people get involved in government.

The man believes in lots of government, that bigger really is better when it comes to government, and he firmly believes that the rest of us should believe the same way he does. In his view of the world, there's no room for unincorporated land.
That's why I won't vote for him. I want less government, not more.
