Female Veterans Call For Military Radio Channel To Drop Rush Limbaugh

Yawn! If these women do not like Rush,all they have to do is to not listen to him.I do that with country music and rap.It is a very simple concept.If these women believe in censorship of the airwaves,than I suggest that they move to a country where the government determines what you can listen to.Also,I am a six year Veteran and even though Rush can be obnoxious at times,I still don't believe in censorship.JUST TURN HIM OFF!DUH!

I've never listened to Rush Limbaugh on the radio, nor do I care to do so. I'm certainly not defending him.

If people don't want to hear him, stop listening. If enough people stop listening, his show will end for low ratings.

The problem can take care of itself...I'm not a big fan of protesting to get a show or program off the air.

Funny that Wilson kicks Levin off of WSPD for saying mean things about Ron Paul and conservatives don't scream censorship. Rush refers to women who take birth control and sluts and prostitutes who should have to film themselves having sex for all to see and the people who want them off the air are anti-free speech fascists.

Sensor, I don't listen to WSPD and rarely open TT threads about WSPD, so I'm not familiar with the situation you're talking about.

I almost wish I was unfamiliar with this Rush Limbaugh situation, but you can't help being bombarded with the story in all the national outlets.

I do try and keep informed and sadly that includes all. As for mumbles Herr Wilson WSPD Program Minister I never listen to him more than 10 minutes at a time before I'm reaching for the dial in disbelief.

As for not reading the WSPD threads on TT, I rarely open them up because those topics tend to turn ugly quickly.

I don't avoid the threads because of the subject matter - I avoid the threads because of the name calling and general immaturity often exhibited by the participants.

I'm no Rush fan but his show on AFN was one of the most popular in country. I can think of at least 3 Sections who listened to it, whole sections, not people.

And the complaints of those deployed will be louder than anyone stateside, because there's little else to do in their free time, never underestimate the power of the Fobbits on Groundfob Day and every day is Groundfob Day.
