Wow! Blast from the past. I remember seeing those when I was a little girl. I think they used to be a carrotcake batter, to make them firm enough to hold up the neck. The closest I've seen are lamb-shaped butters at Churchill's on Central.

make sure to avoid these. :) try Wixey's, they've never shown up on Cakewrecks, afaik.
Try Malczewski's Catering. They run the Scott Park Banquet Hall at the corner of Nebraska and Westwood. The Saturday before Easter, they offer up all their Polish food for sale. Polish wedding chicken, pierogi, Polish coffee cake, sweet and sour cabbage, you name it. My wife grew up over there and we always get some chicken and stuff before the major holidays. Food is very good. I'm thinking they do Lamb Cakes but you might want to give them a call to see if that is the case.
We once had a lamb cake mold but eventually gave it to our son who lives in the Michigan U.P.
We've been to Malczewski's many times for funeral luncheons and small wedding receptions.
It's on Nebraska & Ascot (one block east of Westwood).
Malczewski's Catering has an ad in today's Blade for Easter food. They mentioned lamb cakes and also order early.
