Flooding on Monroe st

Just a heads up, Monroe street near the mall has some major flooding issues at the moment. Just drove through and felt like I was going to drown!

We passed through there too - right near Christ the King/Bob Evans. It was crazy - I've never seen it flood there!

Yeah, that is one of the spots. I remember it from my youth.

It must have REALLY poured between 5:30 and 5:50pm Friday. We went to visit my Mom at the Franciscan care center and thought we were going to need a boat to get there.
Parts of Lewis were flooded, and a whole slew of places on Sylvania were flooded.

Use to live in that area. Monroe Street and Harvest Lane floods big time with heavy rain. It goes almost to Sylvania Ave. on Harvest. In that area the only east-west street that does not flood is Laskey Road.

See any frogs hopping around? Toledo used to be called "Frogtown".

Monroe and Harvest is a notorious flooding location. I remember when we had that big storm in 2006 - it was a disaster.

And yeah, it did rain big time on Friday for about 15 or 20 minutes, and I took Monroe NW to Sylvania when it was at its worst. I knew better than to go any further on Monroe. It was strange seeing such a heavy downpour with the temps so cool that afternoon...
