Just drove north on Holland-Sylvania Road (at Central) and saw that there's a different restaurant in the place where El Matador used to be. Some sort of grill. Are all the El Matadors gone, ... er ... muertos now?

I saw that yesterday on H-S Rd. Were they not a family owned business? I thought that they had really good food and cocktails!

Shocking really. I have lots of fond memories circa 1985 of nights at El Matador.
Family owned. When I last heard they were looking to change the H.S. restaurant to a different cuisine. The rest are closed. I have known the family for many years. They owned the Balkin Inn and for you old, old timers...The Wheel in Downtown Toledo.
