Years ago there used to be a little bakery/cafe in Sylvania called Juan's. After they closed I know Juan; the owner, continued to bake specialty items at Sautters in Sylvania. My wife and I used to go to Juan's occasionally when they were open for incredible eggs benedict and have not found a comparable replacement. Does anyone have any suggestions for eggs benedict around Toledo?

We gave up and started making it at home.
My two suggestions would be Original Pancake at Secor/Central, and Executive Diner on Sylvania. I haven't tried them either place, but those would be my top two choices if I were going to give it a shot.
Juan's was awesome. Miss it.
Almost all restaurants screw up the hollandaise sauce. What you have to do is find a very nice, upscale place that serves gourmet food for dinner and is open for breakfast, then talk to the chef about eggs Benedict.
If I were you, I'd see about finding Juan and making a deal with him for a cooking class or two. Get him to teach you to make your own hollandaise the way he did it, and you'll be good to go.
