I still can't believe that we had Juno for nearly six months. We were able to get her to the point where she was mostly okay around our cats and when she wasn't, she could be easily diverted with a simple "leave it". We'd spent over $1,000 on her between vet care and supplies and our lives revolved around her well beyond any animal I've ever cared for. But she was a happy and loving dog who, aside from all the work, made our days a little brighter...even though she was the one making them a lot harder!
We had four other families interested in her and however nice they were, none were the right fit for her. The only family we could approve were the ones who had been waiting for her since the second week we had her. They were finally able to move into their house and yesterday we did the adoption. I've already had a bunch of updates about how well Juno is doing and I'm so happy she found a family she loves.
I just wanted to thank everyone who had donated to Juno. I knew I was asking for a lot when I begged for donations, but this year has had battle after battle and Juno well deserved having someone fight for her life. Had we not had your help, I don't think we could've afforded her right now. I owe all of you a very big favor and I really can't thank you enough for helping to save such a wonderful dog who truly needed it.
