Promedica "Vegas" lights

I was driving past Flower Hospital last week and I got a kick out of several signs in homeowners yards across the street that read, "Tell Promedica to turn off the Vegas lights."

If you haven't noticed, in the last few months the Promedica hospitals have added bright green lights across the tops. It hadn't even occurred to me that people would be bothered by them. Personally I like them - kinda gives a big city feel to the hospitals. Not sure that I'd feel the same if I had to live across from them, but then again I would never consider buying a house directly across from a hospital...

I think most of those homes were there before the hospital. (Or at least before the hospital grew to any significant size.)

You can see the Toledo Hospital lights from inside the Glass Bowl at UT. I noticed when we went to the Spring Game. If the lights are that bright from UT, they must be ridiculous from the homes near the hospital. Eek!
