The Arts Commission is pleased to announce that its popular Art Walk series will celebrate the start of its 5th season on Thursday, May 10, from 6-9 p.m. This program has grown exponentially over the past five years, beginning with just a small handful of venues and an attendance of about 50 guests at the inaugural event in 2007, and growing to regularly feature more than 100 artists, nearly 30 venues, and hosting several hundred guests each month throughout the summer series.
Art Walks are a great way for the community to experience Toledo’s burgeoning arts scene, to explore the exciting development happening in Downtown Toledo, and to purchase original fine art, and/or locally produced and handmade art, crafts, goods, and wares.
