Blade comments redux

Just noticed something kinda interesting on the blad's new facebook-powered comments...

If I am logged into facebook, I see my comments on blade stories. BUT, if I am NOT logged in, my comments do NOT appear (although others' comments do appear).

It would seem that the bladesters are doing "stealth" deletions of comments: you don't realize that no one else can see your comments, because you yourself can still see them IF you are logged into facebook.

Has anyone else noticed this? Or is there some other explanation?

At least in the old days, they had the balls to state that a comment had been deleted. Sheesh!

I don't think the comments are being deleted. I had the same issue where one of my comments would randomly show or not show and I am always logged in to FB. I have a feeling it is a coding issue.

I noticed that the "level of discourse" has not improved. The comments seem to be dumber, and less local than ever.

I had a friend say his comments were deleted. even if they were not, the fact that people feel that way can't be good for business.
