As most of you know, I have a passion for taking photos. More so, I really enjoy using my camera for photojournalistic purposes.
Over time I have collected a wide variety of photos of urban decay in and around Toledo. so, I think it's time that I perhaps begin to approach this as a bit of an art project and begin to better formalism my digital archive. More so, with a dedicated blog I can better help show off these fading structures and share information I have uncovered about them.

Would anyone with a Toledo area blog or website be interested in trading links with mine?
Alison Dow takes some great shots of area buildings in various states of decrepitude.

Nice hijack, you guys. jeez.
Nice site, enjoyed viewing and reading it.
The difference between her photos and mine is just some editing. Nothing fancy. I have no Ernestine in sitting and hand editing each photo. also, yea...nice hijack.
Also, new photos coming soon of the abandoned prison.
oh jeez. you're ridiculous. i thought you might enjoy her work. that's all.
Toledo, your fine - it was nits who was well....it came off a bit insulting.
The trendy term to describe this genre of photography is ruin porn.
(Note: just adding to the conversation, not condemning anyone, as I spent several years photographing and documenting abandoned buildings for local papers; thus, I too am a ruin pornographer, though perhaps a rehabilitated one).
The actual terms are urban decay and industrial photography.
Nice pics O.K. Gotta bookmark that site.
Reminds me of a couple others I like.

Gee, I'm just a pornographer. What do I have to do to move up the ladder?
