Mercedes repair shop

I have a 560sl that I drive once in a while in the summer. Normally, I do my own service. Now, I am kind of busy and would like to have a shop do a couple of things. I used to fall back on Matt and Isaac at Precision on Airport Hwy but they moved to Waterville or Grand Rapids a few years back. Too far.

Anybody have a decent mercedes qualified shop suggestion closer to the city?

Bavarian Auto in Perrysburg is good and less costly than the dealerships.

European Auto Werkes on Secor Rd. is pretty reasonable.

I have a 320 SLK Sport and I always go to European Auto Werkes. They are reasonable honest and Ryan the mechanic seems like a whiz with European cars. DO NOT go to Vin Devers! They tried to tell me that the computer in the car was shot (3K to boot) when the only reason the top on my car wouldn't go down was because the luggage cover in the trunk was a tad catywompus. European fixed it in 5min NO CHARGE.

Warren Street Garage, I've dealt with them. They are downtown, very good, really know the MB brand.

+1 for Bavarian Auto. When I had a Mini Cooper I took it to them. SLIGHTLY less costly than the dealerships but I think his hourly labor rate is still around $90. Very good and honest, although he calls himself the "Service Nazi" - he has a way of "telling it like it is".

Plus he's got the first prototype for a BMW 6 series convertible in his waiting room.

Bavarian is good;the Nazi is good but, a little more per hour than Waterville Imports. I understand you want to be closer but, you may want to try Chris at Waterville Imports.
