New restaurants x2

On Tuesday, June 8th 2 of my good friends (and chefs) are opening new restaurants. Erika Rapp is opening Registry Bistro http://registrybistro.com/#/HOME-01-00/ and Rob Campbell is opening Revolution Grille http://www.opentable.com/revolution-grille . Both are chef owned and seasonal. Huuuuge additions to our food scene. The menus for both are quiet affordable with lots of interesting dining options. Both also have very unique wine programs where you can try a lot of eclectic stuff. Please be sure to support these 2 outstanding chefs and tremendous individuals.

It would take me a long time to figure out what to eat first on Registry Bistro's menu, it all sounds awesome. They also have a very solid beer list. I'm exited to go.

That's great! I will love to check them out. But registery link doesn't work for me, where's it located?

It's in the Secor building downtown, between the stadium and the arena

I can't wait to try Registry Bistro. Glad to see a restaurant open up like this in Toledo. Never heard of Revolution Grille, will have to look into it.

We finally went tonight and tried every appetizer on the menu. All were amazing and my blackberry basil mojito was phenomenal. It's very reasonably price for the quality level you get. So glad to have them in my neighborhood and I can't wait to go back. Next time it will be for dinner. Tonight was reservation only, probably due to the glass conference in town.

The pot roast ravioli is insane too. As a friend of Erika's, I can tell you that she has played with each of these ideas quite a bit and continued to refine them. The evolution of each of these dishes is based on a pretty critical eye. There is creative for creative's sake and then there's Erika. She doesn't put anything out that hasn't been put through the gauntlet. So psyched to see them rocking. The response has been overwhelming. I'll be stopping in tonight during the gallery hop.

Okay, where is the Revolution Grille? I was going to have lunch there today and couldn't find the place. What's it next to?

Went to Registry on Tuesday the soy grilled pork was great. Prices are not to bad if you don't drink to much.

I'm very glad to see a place all about the dinner and people no TV or chicken wings at the bar.
