A friend of mine just acquired this property. He hopes to save it and is tossing around a few different ideas for residential space or even a potential community or business center. The place has great potential, but like so many vacant properties it has suffered at the hands of malicious actions and the elements. Most of the damage to this property has come from people….
It really bothers me to think that so many vacant properties are destroyed by people who intentionally and maliciously destroy the property.
I will post more on this project as it comes along. I am hoping this turns into a success story, and that this property is redeemed.

I have found your photos of these places very interesting. Always has me looking and imagining of times gone by and what if those walls could talk stuff.
Anyway, I was wondering as I was looking at the bucket in the last pic, have you ever found something that "startled" you or made you "crap your pants"? Real or imagined.
Hockey.....lots of times. That being said I went into a building across the street and found a squatters den. Ill have those photos later.

man, he's got his job cut out for him, for sure. this is gonna take a lot of $$$ or calling in every favor anyone owes him. I admire people who do this, I wish him every success.
