I've not been, yet, but a few of the images I've seen - the pulled pork sandwich with kimchi and black bean chili sauce - have piqued my interest! Could be a tremendous addition to the local dining landscape.

can't wait to try it out
the review i read in the city paper made it sound like they offer a lot of fluff (ie: ordering on ipads) but the food sounds terrific

I think it's the one with Hobby Lobby and the Bier Stube?

You aren't alone. I've looked for it and can't find the place.

I called the # and she said in the Hobby Lobby Center on Nantucket Drive.

Thanks. Looking for an address on Google maps is great for a general area, but if it's in a plaza it is of little value.

Okay, I found it. It's the old JD Wesley's Encore.

I don't think they're going to make it. I found the place the other day, and seeing people and activity inside I decided I'd have lunch. I walked in and was trying to decide where to park it when I was arrested by a young blond girl who icily asked me my business. When I responded that I wanted lunch, I was informed in lofty tones that the place wasn't open for lunch; only dinner. Her demeanor spoke worlds about my welcome in their fine emporium - clearly I wasn't the type of clientele she thought was acceptable.

The location is going to make life difficult. This place was Poco Piatti for a while, then it closed and reopened as JD Wesley's. Main Lady and I ate at Wesley's whenever we wanted fine dining. The food and service were both five star, and if some sort of theme were applied to the ambiance it would have been five star as well. Then something happened to the chef, family troubles or something, and the place went to hell in a hand basket overnight. It opened again as JD Wesley's Encore, but it was never quite as good. I think the chef lost his touch a little, and the service was no longer five star (too inconsistent). Too bad.

Maybe my experience was an anomaly, but I really don't think so.

We went last night with some friends for the first time. I don't think that they're going to have any problem whatsoever with the location - I called in the morning to get a reservation and if I hadn't we would have had a long wait. The location is helped by the popularity of Bar 145 being within a stone's throw - the crowd was very similar.

The food was great. We all shared what we had so we could try a bit of everything on the table. My friend's flat iron steak with bleu cheese macaroni was the highlight.

Madjack, from my one visit I think your experience was an anomaly. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, to the point of being TOO attentive - they were constantly at the table. The one thing we noticed though was that 95% of the waitstaff and hosts looked barely 19 or 20. And there were tons of them! There must have been 9 or 10 servers and 4 hosts/ess - complete overkill in such a tiny dining room.

Overall we'll definitely be back.

I drove by yesterday. It was pretty conspicuous. There seemed to be a lot of activity inside, as madjack noted, but they were apparently not open. This was around noon.

Went for dinner last night and would highly recommend Revolution Grille. Another great addition to the Toledo food scene. All of the food was great, the service was prompt and the atmosphere was nice. It was full at 7pm on a wednesday night. I would recommend getting a reservation for dinner.

Thanks for the reviews and the menu links. I might have to try getting over there some time soon.

The menu looks more appealing to me than the one at the Registry Bistro. (Nothing against that place, of course. Different strokes for different folks. It just looks like the Revolution Grille menu is more in line with my personal preferences.)

Having been to both, I would recommend both. They are definitely different but both very good.
