I want to pick up a bunch of snow crab to steam for July 4th. I'd like your input on whether I should go with The Fish Market on Telegraph or Fresh Market on Central.

I've found that the prices at The Fish Market are much better than the those at Fresh Market. I believe you'll get frozen or previously frozen from both locations. I also know that The Fish Market will take your order ahead of time and have them ready for you when you arrive. FM may do the same, but I've never inquired about that.
And if you're interested the whole 'buy local' approach, The Fish Market is a locally-owned company as opposed to a chain.

I've called both places today, and the price is the same. Also, both will take my order ahead of time.
I just want to make sure I'm getting yummy crab. I'm not setting up a Plan B, so it's gotta be good.
Good point about the "buy local" aspect, Maggie. All things being equal (and even if the cost is higher) I do try to support local businesses. When it comes to seafood though, quality trumps everything.
we've always been extremely pleased with the quality from both places - and we eat a lot of seafood.
