I agree the USA uniforms ought to be made in the USA, but the politicians might want to check their underwear. Chances are , it was made in Taiwan, Hong Kong, or somewhere in South America. If you discarded all the items of clothing you have on right now....how much would be left? Check it out.

Just one more stupid distraction to keep people riled up about crap that means nothing so we don't pay attention to them not doing their jobs. Their ignorance knows no bounds. How many jobs would this actually translate into and for how long? Think about it. More smoke and mirrors, pay no attention to your Congressman doing jack shit of any importance behind the curtain.

It was funny to hear some of them complain given they carry the banner of free-market capitalism. Nana's right - they just want to keep the people busy so no one notices what is happening (or not) behind the curtain.

As much lying and cheating in the olympics with the supposed "drug tests" I've been turned against it.

I got turned off when they invited professionals to compete when not long ago others got their medals stripped from them for earning money just to live. Jim Thorpe is the most recognized name that it happened to.

I am embarrassed that anybody would want to burn the unifroms and make that kind of statement in the modern world economy. I could have understood using an american source in the first place, but not the backlash.
