Commercial Portrait Photography

Someone posted about a year ago looking for a recommendation for a professional photographer to shoot a dust jacket portrait. I am looking for something similar: headshots for my partners and I for our website. Not interested in the standard gray background or even worse, in front of a bunch of legal books. This guy's style would be ideal, but is in Cleveland: http://www.ericmull.com/index.php#mi=2&pt=1&pi=10000&s=0&p=4&a=0&at=0. Any thoughts TTers?

Not sure how much you want to pay, but there are two photographers that come to mind (at least for me).

Jim Rohman: http://www.jimrohmanstudio.com

or

Eric Eggly: http://www.ericegglyphotography.com/

I have worked with both and they are outstanding. And really nice guys to boot!

daddyg - I second those two. They are the best in town.

daddyg - was it your boy who you were getting tested for autism? Seems I remember something along this line. Sorry to change the post for a second. Wondered how things went/are going?

Wow. I've just put "Having my portrait done by Jim Rohman" on my life list. Thank you for these links.

I know Eric Eggly personally, and have worked with him.

I 100% support Eric Eggly for this work. Seriously, you won't be disappointed.

Molsonator, yeah it was my little guy who we thought might have autism. Fortunately, after numerous tests and some intensive therapy through Harbor and Mercy, his diagnosis came back negative. I can't say enough good things about the people at the Board of Developmental Disabilities who helped guide us through everything. Jack (my son) turned 4 at the end of March and except for a little bit of a speech/pronunciation delay, he is as right as rain. Thanks for asking!
