So after some discussion, and much encouragment I have finally decided to get together a photo portfolio. I don't have all the photos I want posted on it....but it's a nice start.

Thoughts? Mostly, I aim for a photojournalism style and avoid heavy editing and manipulation. In the distant future I see myself more of a traveling freelance industrial / construction photographer.

most people won't give a rats ass wether or not a photo has been touched up. you really don't need to mention it on your "about" page. also, the links to twitter and flickr don't work.

As for the social media, I'm aware it doesn't work and still very on the fence about using it at this time. The site is not finished. Odds are the finished version will have those links removed.

Beautiful Job! You probably already figured out I am a fan I'm always sharing your pictures on my social media sites.
I must respectfully disagree and tell you hop back on this side of the fence. Social Media may do nothing for you, or may do a tiny bit for you. But it's free, and it's advertising so any exposure is good. (get it...exposure...) :)
I am very PRO social media...however for me its a matter of having time to commit.

Social media is probably the easiest, least time restrictive and cheapest way to get the word out! Get on the train OK!

Looks very nice. It is a clean site with great photos! Thank you for sharing it. I noticed a couple of typos "Flicker" rather than "Flickr" and the second to the last sentence in About says "met" but it seems like you mean "meet". (slinking away now...not trying to cause trouble)
