I'm looking to sell a brand new never played custom Fender Jackson guitar and case that I have acquired. I have no idea where in Toledo to take this. Ideas? Thanks!
Selling a guitar. Where?

Crossroads on tremainsville, vintage city on reynolds rd next to miss cue, or tumbleweed trading post on airport hwy in holland. but you will probably be low balled at any shop that buys guitars. you may consider ebay, craigslist, weekly trading post. etc.

You can also go to Guitar Center, but as todd said, you will be lowballed by anyone looking to resell.

You'll probably get a better price selling it on Craigslist than one of the local pawn shops or music stores - if you're willing to put up with the hassle.
Is it a Fender or a Jackson? Those are two different brands.

I was told Fender Jackson, but I now realize its a Jackson similar to http://www.jacksonguitars.com/products/search.php?partno=2803030884 Same model with custom "rock of ages" color
Fender owns/markets the Jackson name, so it can indeed be a "Fender Jackson," though "Jackson" is the name that players would recognize.

I am more of a Stratocaster and Telecaster fan myself. I looked at the link, but this is a bit too 1980s hair band-ish for my liking. I wish you well on the sale, though.

I was in the same situation a couple of years ago. I had a beautiful Gretsch I needed to sell to help settle a client's estate. Allied Music Exchange wouldn't make an offer (said they were inundated with folks trying to sell instruments and no one buying). People at Vintage City didn't seem to really know what they were doing, so I went to Tumbleweed. He gave me what I thought was a pretty decent price, but I ended up adding a couple hundred onto what he offered and sold it to a friend of a friend. (BTW, it was a Country Gentleman like George Harrison used. I've never seen a guitar that made me wish so much that I knew how to play.)

Here's an ad I just found on craigslist.
Ah, that is a fine Gretsch, AceFace. I would like to one day one a similar guitar, as well as a 1960s-era Rickenbacker.

But did your Country Gentlemen have red felt near the mutes?
Yes I am a Beatles geek!
I had some luck selling a guitar on craigslist a few years back. It wasn't as fancy as the Fender Jackson, but I got exactly what I paid for it when I bought it new back in 1997, $600. A band from North Dakota was passing through town, and it happened to be exactly what one of the guys was looking for. I'd say give craigslist or ebay a try.
