I tried looking on the Blade's website today and read a couple of articles, but none of them stated why those 2 young adults were killed. Was it related to drugs or random?
Did they ever say why Williams murdered those 2 kids in Springfield twp?

Johnny Clarke had bragged to his friends that there was a safe full of cash in the Straub house.
There was testimony that they tortured her with the bag to get him to tell where the money and heroin was. On the third time they put it over her head and she passed out, she died. Then they had to kill him too.
The only money that they found was Iraqi currency, which they referred to as "monopoly money."
That is the same reason that Pettaway murdered them, btw.

So this poor young woman gets killed because her bf gets involved with drug dealers, or were they both involved in drugs? And how did the murderers know where to find these two anyway?
It was like 5 grand in Iraqi currency that Mr. Straub had as an investment of sorts.

Does anyone else find that weird? Who stashes, or even keeps that kind of currency? Especially from Iraq?
Remember when they were saying that currency would go through the roof? some sort of scam. Maybe he bought into it.
