How Many Gang-Related Crimes Since 10-15-05?

That was the day Toledoans' chased a neo-nazi group out of town. My question is, how many gang-related crimes such as: murder, robbery, assault, arson, and so on, TOTAL, were reported here in town over the last 7 years? Whatever the aggregate number is, you can bet it's off the charts. Where's the outrage over this? Answer--nowhere. It doesn't exist. As usual, people blame the police. That's bullshit, too. Why should a cop try to bust up a gang, so he/she can get fired or sued as a result? The reason the gang problem in Toledo persists, and is getting worse, is because people put up with it.

Time to think creatively. What if we had several white-aryan groups willing to move into Toledo's inner city? Allow natural selection, dialectic-materialism to work itself out. Then move in and sweep up the remainders, give them free travel to some unpopulated area of Alaska. Give the creatures 2 years of food and provisions. Heck maybe do a reality series with them.

Then go in and cleanse the entire inner city with a controlled burn. With the dark, jagged edges of the human melanoma/maligancy removed we then fresh plant green space. Create a memorial park to all the victims of LBJ's great society and the horror that has resulted.

Move lives would be spared, more pain avoided, more children saved by this approach versus what we do now.

Well, when a post starts with tacit praise for Nazis, what follows can't be much better.

So here's a gang-related question: If you know someone is in a gang, can you report them or something? I mean, is it illegal to be in a gang?

All the Toledo police would need to do is look at the Facebook pages of suspected gang members, in that case.

The point I was making, or trying to make is this: The troublemakers left town 10/15/05, and as far as we know haven't been back. I'd call that "mission accomplished". For that matter, look at what public refusal of acceptance of smoking has led to. Some people still smoke, but they don't blow the smoke on the rest of us anymore. For chrissake-this isn't about what party may or may not be more to blame than another.

Wulf- Out of fairness, your 2 posts are a little confusing, and read as a weird endorsement of the neo-nazis. Please clarify-Are you suggesting that their intent was to create chaos that eventually led to gang violence at this level? Or is it a criticism of the comparative outrage at the neo-nazi's vs the current high level of gang violence?

I have to apologize for what I was thinking. Your explanation of your post Wulf makes everything make more sense. And you're right, it has to be a community task, not just a call to the police and hope for the best. I think that's been proven over and over again.

tlm0000 gets it! Years ago people in the Vistula District started filming "johns", in order to try to curb the amount of prostitution in that neighborhood. In other words-the people there refused to look the other way. They had some actual success, too, as I recall. Now, what do you bet the next post here will say I'm endorsing hookers?
