Seeking advice: Kids haircut salon

Hi everyone,

Could anyone recommend a salon for the kids haircut, please? I am looking for a place that is kid friendly and I can bring a 1.5-year old toddler for his 1st haircut.

I was at Darla's Hair Co over the weekend waiting for my friend's hair to get done for a wedding and I noticed they had one of those airplane chairs like in the older barber shops! Thought that was pretty neat!

I took my 18 month old to La Luna Salon on Monroe Street. It's a really nice place and the staff is amazing. We went to Kendelle and we left with all smiles!

Is Cookie Cutterz still around? Little kids could sit on fiberglass ponies or in cars wheile they got their hair cut, and they had video screens all over.

The other place that did a nice job was Colonial Barbershop on Heatherdowns. My son had his first haircut there while sitting in a firetruck. They took his picture and I got a certificate.

Cookie Cutters closed awhile back.

Bummer, because it was a good place to take a little kid for a haircut.

My kids are beyond todler age now, so we just go to Great Clips. But they loved Cookie Cutters back in the day.
