This is true and I agree. However, Given that the Occupy-types are largely 20-somethings, aka young-and-stupid, and they do typical whippy-dippy-hippie crap when it's not some really dumbass kid shitting on cop cars, I'm much less concerned about them than I am about the Tea Party old-and-stupid-and-crazy crowd who are PROUD! of their gun collections and wear them in armed protests.

One group I expect to possibly riot like college kids do and overturn some cars, set some couches on fire in the streets, smash a few windows, and crap like that, then get bored and go home, if they're not all arrested. You know, some shouts of "FUCK THE PIGS", throw some rocks at the cops, the cops whip out the tear gas and rubber bullets, the kids decide it's no fun anymore and disperse.

The other group, what with the whole "ooga booga Obama is coming for your guns! He's going to take you away in refitted boxcars to FEMA re-education camps" beliefs they have (spoon-fed to them by right-wing TV, talk radio, and websites), I expect to show up armed, which will cause the cops to have to show up in full-on riot gear and the SWAT teams to be there as well, and it's only going to go bad from there. The minute the cop-in-charge picks up the megaphone and yells "PUT DOWN YOUR WEAPONS!", some brainwashed Teabilly asshole, who might have had one too many, is gonna shout "FUCK YOU!" and raise his weapon. That'll be the start...

^ That, by the way, is what I'm currently having bad dreams about seeing happen if (when) there's more election irregularities, or when the loser is announced.

Seriously, who is going to be scarier to the cops? A pile of college kids armed with rocks, maybe some beer bottles, or a pile of people who are primed with the idea that cops are agents of the government that is going to come take their guns and round them up into FEMA re-education camps, and who take pride in having more weapons of better quality than the cops do?

Shit's going to go off the rails late the night of the 6 or early morning on the 7th, unless it's a clear landslide, or the count is so close it runs into the week after the election or later... and that's just more time for people of a certain bent to stock up on guns and ammo.

Its how it started in the revolution.

But anyone who dared to make the claim that BUSH was building FEMA camps, rigged the elections, etc. etc. was laughed at by people like RButthead and Lie-ny. When they claim it about Obama, it's rock-solid truth being covered up by the liberal mainstream MSM media. And these conservatives, as I've noted, are the ones who pride themselves on being armed to the teeth. Republican hypocrisy. But whipping them up with this rhetoric is the only way the GOP can turn out a pile of old white people to vote. I studied my history, and I can note some other nations where people took over by claiming all the economic problems and so on were due to pacifists and particular ethnic/religious/other groups. Things went rapidly downhill for much of the rest of the world shortly thereafter.
