Hillary's business partner speaks about Obama

Obama is nothing but talk. It will get old by election time.

You could say that about McCain, Clinton, Cicero, etc. Politics and platitudes go hand in hand.

Hillary and McCain are facing legal problems due to their campaign financing, which shows they can't even follow the laws they helped enact. Beautiful.

Speaking of commercials, in early March of 2007, this entertaining pro-Obama ad was released to YouTube. Time flies. One year already. Anyway, the video is titled 'Vote Different'. Obviously, it's a take-off of Apple's classic 1984 Super Bowl commercial where the company introduced the Macintosh computer. The Apple commercial was based upon George Orwell's book Nineteen Eighty-Four. In the pro-Obama ad, the girl running with the sledgehammer is wearing an iPod, and on her tanktop is the Obama "O" logo.

Obama is nothing but talk. It will get old by election time.

But as Stephen Hayes pointed out in last week's WSJ, that's what they said about Reagan, too.

I say that in politics in general, don't underestimate your opponent. Hillary thought she had this thing locked and it turned out to not be the case.
