Evans Street Station on Tecumseh has an excellent Thanksgiving Day buffet. Less than an hour away from Toledo.

According to their website, Cracker Barrels are open on Thanksgiving Day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. They serve a lot of highway customers, so it makes sense for them to be open. Not very expensive. There's one on 475 at Exit 6, and one off 75 at exit 193.
I think that J.Patrick's at the Holiday Inn French Quarter is open. They have a pretty decent buffet. You may need to sign up or make a reservation, though.

November 2009 thread titled Thankgiving Dinner Out? that may still contain useful info. A few suggestions from that thread include:
- Water's Edge Restaurant at Maumme Bay State Park Lodge
- Thanksgiving 2012 Menu (pdf file)
- The Whitehouse Inn
- Cousino's Steak House
- Mango Tree
Claddagh has a Thanksgiving buffet that we're considering. You need to make reservations, just so you know.
Wow! Just checked out the Evans St. Station menu (linked above). I wish we were closer, because that sounds yummy!
I saw on a commercial that Golden Corral is open…you get dinner and a show.

That menu (Evan's Street Station) looked crazy good! I called and made reservations. They are almost full up, in case anyone was considering it.
Iron Skillet on 280 or the SR 18 exit on 75. Very good buffets, not a lot of money, people are friendly, and they can usually accommodate a large crowd if you hang out a bit. We've had 16 people one year and they didn't bat an eye. We tipped really good. :)
