Although I worry about the legal implications for the OP, bravo for the initiative!

Truth is an absolute defense to libel/slander. And, I am not too worried about a pot dealer, semi-thug suing me.

You are correct that he is unlikely to sue. As for the defense of truth - you have to be able to prove that. For your sake, I hope he doesn't sue because the information you have provided seems a bit thin on proof.

Real scary to me as I grew up at 5753 Mantey Lane. I can tell which house and who lived in it eons ago.

I wouldn't worry about having to prove anything. Martino already has a rap sheet at 23 years old.

The problem is these bums don't even go to jail or don't stay locked up long when they are convicted or misdemeanors. If he's pushing coke, meth, or drugs other than pot, he may get some serious time when caught.

6th - Those cases proved he is/was a drug user. The allegations made here and on FB are that he is selling drugs to children and that the homeowner allows this activity to take place with impunity. Those are simply not borne out by anything provided so far.

Again, these guys are unlikely to sue, but there are ways to provide the same information without CAT opening himself up to the possibility. A little prudence can go a long way.

Take a few videos, capturing images his accomplices. The police can round them up and extract some confessions. Really, this is not that difficult, assuming you have to time to invest in it.

MTR - Proof issues would not be a problem if Tino decided to avail himself of the civil legal system. Photos, video, calls to police, license plates etc. all party of my community policing campaign. Hopefully other neighbors will join in, annonymously, and up the pressure as well.

Letters to neighbors went out Wed. Letters to police, City and County officials to follow. Tino, and friends, commented on the FB page for a day or so - then, blocked access to their individual pages. Amazing how many people live in denial - or don't care - that a 23 year old man sells drugs to teenagers.

Taking suggestions on other wep pages to post to, or methods of community policing this problem away.

Actual proof of the drug dealing would help. Right now we just have pictures of a guy.

Whitmer Parents -- check your kids facebook -- If Martino Tucker is listed - he is their drug dealer. He goes by Tino - check their cell phones - if the contact list shows TINO - he is their dealer.

Many of his Facebook Friends" are Whitmer Kids.

If you want to see what kids are up too around you do a twitter sweep of the area around you. You can see where and what everyone around you is tweeting.

Provided it's true, that's pretty good practical info for parents, CominAfterTino. I wonder how many fights families get into when parents try to inspect the FB pages of their kids, from the kids' side of things.

Call the superintendent's office. If their response doesn't satisfy you, call the parent association.

I joined FB in part a few years back to 'keep an eye' on my kids and their friends (yes, I know I can be blocked on stuff) and it was a learning experience. One's off at college now, basically on her own, but my soon-to-be 16-year-old has moved on to mostly Twitter; maybe it's time to sign up. We're not Whitmer, but the principle applies whereever.

What's funny about Twitter is that most people who post, post their location as well. It's a default setting. So you can look at view almost all the Tweets around you (or other location), with out you having to follow them.

I don't tweet every often. I use Twitter more as an RSS feed. I wouldn't follow me either. :)

Twitter has an 'immediacy', overly-detailed aspect to it I don't really need. I have no desire to know ASAP where and what family members, friends, co-workers, acquintances did for lunch, or the quality of their bowel movement five minutes afterwards.

At the very least, assuming he is making the calls he claims to be, he is likely guilty of telecommunications harassment.

MTR - Not sure about that. If a person, in the instanct Martion Tucker - posts his phone number on a public forum, such as Facebook, I don't know if re-posting on another forum violates any telecomunications restrictions.

As for harrasment, my post did not ask anyone to harrass Martino, I only stated people should call. Maybe splitting hairs, and if Martino or law enforcement chose to investigate perhaps I would find out.

As for caller ID - Molsonator has a point - don't place yourself or your family in jeapordy by giving your number to a drug dealing criminal. There are ways to mask your phone number, public phones avaialbe, or simply don't participate. The point of the post is more directed as a method of shinging the light on a problem - and keeping pressure on the target.

You did not merely ask people to call. You asked them to jam his phone line. Regardless, that is not the requirement to prove telephone harassment. There are legal ways to accomplish what you want. You have previously mentioned a couple (photos and video of folks coming and going, monitoring FB and the like and reporting to authorities, etc...) It is silly to put yourself at risk of legal troubles to stop this guy. Not only do posts like the "jam his phone line" open you to unneeded trouble, it makes the police less likely to take you seriously when you ask for help.

That was not said in jest or with a sacrastic font. I am already in contact with the police and prosecutors, and I am not concerned with being taken seriously. My efforts via social media and the bloggosphere supplement more direct, traditional efforts I am undertaking. At times emotion may take over better judgment, but are generally thought out.
