Toledo Talk

Crime Alert: Beverly

On my way back from picking up coffee for Mrs. Ace and I this morning, I saw a shady looking character in front of one of my neighbor's houses. He was walking quickly, so I slowed down to see where he was going. When he saw me, he hopped a fence into a backyard and took off. I looped around the block, hoping to catch him getting into a car and noting the license plate #. No dice. So I came back around the block and the neighbor was outside my house talking to my wife. She confirmed that the guy was in her house and booked when she came back from dropping one of her kids off at school. I told her to call the police and I drove around the neighborhood hoping to get a glimpse of him, but didn't see him. I took my kids to school and returned home. The police finally rolled up about 20 minutes after the call. The burglar had apparently kicked in the door to the attached garage and then went into the house through the unlocked door. This was all at 8:00 this morning. Keep your eyes open people. Crime can strike anytime, anywhere.

8:00 AM? The thief must have been up all night.

Is this Beverly Drive, parallel to the AWT? If so, which section of Beverly?
