anyone know of some places here in town selling strings of lights on the cheap?

Are you looking for anything in particular, or just the small mini-lights people have had for the last couple of decades? Menards has a good selection, with low prices.

Ugh. Sorry for posting twice. My Internet froze up and I thought the post didn't go through.
Menards is not bad, but, surprisingly, I got even better prices at Lowes.

Not sure if they still do or not but they had them on sale at Meijer for a couple bucks.

Watch out for how cheap you go, they will not last the season. Try paying a little more upfront for the commercial grade lights, they seem to last longer. Also you might want to get one of those guns that fix light sets, they work awesome.
