anyone got a lead on reasonably priced/foreclosed properties in either neighborhood. looking for space and would prefer to rehab - smallish, up to a 4 or 5 thousand sq feet or so.

If you have not done so already, try contacting the respective associations:
Not sure of much foreclosed on as its mainly older commercial buildings that have been in the same hands for years but just take a walk some afternoon tons of forsale signs around.

not so much foreclosed as abandoned and taken for tax purposes... sheriff sale, land bank etc. just seeing if there is any inside info among our ranks on other props that may be off the radar

You might acquire some inside info by wandering around at the Holiday Loop this Friday. You can meet residents, building owners, and business owners in the both areas.
