Any recommendations for a local frontend web developer? I do it myself, but honestly, I'm primarily a backend kinda guy and lack good marketing and creative skills to do high polished frontend work.
My work's website needs a serious facelift. The current website was created by my predecessor from the mid-90's and it just looks awful.
Know my boss is willing to pay an earnest amount, but not a lot. Then again I work for a non-profit agency for MRDD kids.
Any help is appreciated, and if not local, then abroad. Know there are a lot of them out there, but prefer to keep it local if possible.

P.S. I tried doing it myself, was a great exercise in learning CSS and Javascript and turned out ok for my needs, but the boss wasn't thrilled due to lack of "bling". So here is a warning, they don't want to pay a lot if any for images. My "template" site seemed nice, but they want a lot of graphics and imagery, and while there is a lot of site out there to mimic, as a professional I keep things 100% straight, and finding public domain pics of kid or health related images has been interesting.
Plus they want the site to be verbose as much as possible about our abilities as an agency... yet... at least for me has given so few content, I've only had to resort to the outdated content from out current site.
Man this is sounding like a downer :) Just giving you a heads up. Plus if we can get a "web designer" to make a nice facelife, it might give me the umph to push the upper-ups, to give me the content needed to fill it.
