Drove by the former Adams Ribs on Laskey and noticed it now has an Italian name.
Anyone tried it out?

Was this the smallish, supper club type restaurant? Catered to a middle aged (like me) to older crowd?
If yes, too bad it's out of business. On a couple of different occassions, we enjoyed some of the best meals in town there.
Adams Ribs changed owners a few years back. The original owners had a very successful restaurant and won the people's choice at the rib off a time or two. Excellent food and great bread pudding.
I know one of the new owners, but haven't been to the restaurant yet.
I've enjoyed food that he has catered at private parties in the past, so I will give the restaurant a try.
do you remember the new name? I was going to check YELP, but cant remember what it's called?
Cantina Milan's.
It is supposedly Mexican/Italian. Driving past the other night, the sign said "Opening in February", but there were not any cars in the lot. Don't know if it is open just yet....
Exactly what I was thinking! It's too bad, because Adams was a nice place. It's not a big place, and I've never been in their kitchen, so I don't know how successful they can be offering two distintly different food types. But at least it's not "Bikini Babes" or whatever Dom & Carlitas became!
The sign said it would open on Feb 1 but they took the 1 down and i have seen no signs of life at the restaurant.
Wonder if that was the source of the "searchlights" I saw in the sky last night? They were coming from that general direction.
I think the search lights are from one of the strip clubs on Telegraph & Alexis.
Good grief. Wouldn't you know it? Like that area needs more attention called to it.
