A family member has a back problem and would like to try acupuncture, in particular not one associated with a chiropractor and preferably one with some sort of MD. Any ideas? There used to be a chinese doctor that was also an anesthesiologist specializing in pain but I can't remember the name or locate him.

Dr Diane McCormick in Sylvania; she used to be an ER doctor and has an extensive medical background. I went to her years ago.
Diane McCormick is the only person I would recommend in this area. I have had success with her treatment on more than one occasion. (419) 885-5929, 6011 Renaissance Pl #4,

Diane McCormick for sure! We have been friends for a long time and she is a fantastic Dr.
Thanks! Two votes from here is a pretty strong reccomendation.
Wait... what? I see three votes. Am I being paranoid, or does one of us not count ;)
No, you're not paranoid. I'm kinda dumb sometimes. I clearly cant count. Sorry!
I was at my acupuncturist on Friday, (Tamara Willingham up there in Michigan, can't begin to tell you how much she has helped me) and as I sat at the window seat waiting for someone to leave I heard the other acupuncturist talking to someone about a conversation about the MD acupuncturist in Toledo that I must assume is this Diane person.
It made me smile, because I'm thinking whoever it was standing there is someone who reads this board! :) Small worlds and good timing and all that.
"Word of Mouth" or in this case "Word of Message Board" is very widely disseminated. I'm thankful for that.
