We called earlier today to confirm that BCSN would be broadcasting the Northview state championship hockey game. They stated that they were.
Game time at 7 pm, but it's not on BCSN.
We call back to ask what's up. They state that the game got bumped for other programming.
What's on now? The rebroadcast of last night's Bedford/Milan basketball game.
Showing a day old basketball game is a bigger priority than a local team playing in the state championship game?

a lot of times they cannot air live high school games of any kind. It prevents attendance at the event.
Game is in Columbus SMBFC.

Strange. All the Football (all divisions) Championships were live as well as all the Basketball Championships (all divisions). Sucks they wouldn't do Hockey live.

So if I read that correctly - BCSN would have had to purchase the rights to the game through OHSAA. So they could have ran the game live and it had nothing to do with attendance. Thanks for the link SMBFC.
