Thought I'd pass this on:
The Andersons in Maumee will host an electronics recycling and document destruction day on Saturday, April 13, and at its Sylvania market on April 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Accepted items are computers and computer parts, monitors, servers, terminals, laptops, hard drives, keyboards, computer mice, printers, toner and ink, hubs, routers, and networking equipment; telephone equipment, cables, cell phones, fax machines; VCRs, DVD players, speakers, radios, projectors; electronic games, cameras, and typewriters; microwaves, cash registers, time clocks, PDAs.
A $5 donation is requested to help defray costs.
No TVs, air conditioners or appliances, paint, fluorescent bulbs or alkaline batteries.
Thanks, I was looking for one of these to go to. Also, Sears Westgate is doing a free paper shred, TV and monitor drop-off next Saturday 9-1.
Just bumping this thread up. Anyone know if they have limits?
I work for a non-profit and have accumulated yet again a modest pile of things that need recycled. Not a truck load but definitely my backseats worth.
Nana: Is the Sears one this Saturday 20th, or 27th.
First, thank you renegade! I will be using it.
INeedCoffee: I went to The Anderson's electronic recycling on Talmadge/Monroe location a couple of years back. I have a 1/4 ton Jeep Wrangler TJ (smaller than the new JKs). I had ripped out the back seat. Took the top off of it and loaded the rear up. I had no problem. I plan on going to the Sylvania recycling and load it again. Does that help?
