Have you people seen this? Is it for real? .23 cents?

I love Lebron...is this a stunt? Really..take advantage people. Of course the cost of gas to get there is more than lunch.

Some people are going to take advantage of this deal and send/take them to area homeless shelters. This is a good Idea. Get some luch for you and our homeless residents. At .23 cents I'm sure we can afford to take a few over to the Cherry St. mission or your local shelter. I'm getting in line now. Not for me but them. Have a great day People!

It mentions the company being in Toledo but never heard of them, where are they located and when/how long is this deal?

You have never heard of Papa Johns?

I heard that Papa Johns put out 6 t-shirts saying James was a crybaby. Now the franchise is groveling for forgiveness.

Be warned, at 4:02 PM the Papa John's on Airport Hwy stated that they were done making the 23 cent pizzas but if you wanted a regular pizza at the regular price, they would be more than happy to make it for you. All the while allowing several customers, who were in the store alone, walk out the door with several of the 23 cent pizzas when their sinage clearly states a limit of 1 per customer and/or household.

Great deal, yes, but to be "sold out" before dinner, that's just poor customer service!

It's a nice way to align yourself with one of the most recognizable names in sports for a loss of a $2.00 or so a pizza. Way cheaper than legitimate advertising.

OK, after watching the news, I think I got lucky! The Papa John's on Dorr St. near UT had to be closed down by TPD for fear of a riot and it sounds like almost all Papa John's locations in the Toledo area are now closed because they ran out of product. WOW, way to totally not be prepared to be mobbed, huh?

I smell communist bread lines as the culprit.

Fistfights broke out at the one by me. No thanks. Cops told them to close down.

I am always amazed by how cheap people can be. When Chipotle opens a new store, they usually offer free burritos opening day. There are always people willing to stand in line for 3 hours to save $5 on a burrito. If these people would have worked instead of standing in line, they could have bought three or four pizzas.

I think it might be indicative of that 9% unemployment rate. There is no work, therefore a cheap pizza from a third rate joint is like winning the lottery.

And I doubt anyone waited 3 hours for a burrito. Exaggeration for arguments sake is a form of dishonesty don't you think?

I don't know. The line when I drove past the Conant St. location last year on opening day, the line was out the door, down the sidewalk and into the parking lot. Maybe it was less than three hours. But in a world where people will run out of gas driving around to save $.05 per gallon, I wouldn't doubt that people would wait three hours for a free burrito.
