I'm not even really sure you can call it a revolution, foreign money and troops from both sides really started it to gain influence.
Syria was one of the most secular of the non-terrorist camp having countries in the cat box. They just didn't play nice with the kings of the jungle (saudi arabia) al-Assad has to go. Iran hates SA so they back the other side. A very small majority of the country wanted revolution, but guns and money dumped fuel on a fire. This is not a revolution but outside forces attempting a corporate culture takeover, we have taught the world well. Go USA!
The right war mongers in this country are proxies for Israel, the left power mongers are Saudi Arabia's bitch, the middle class pays for it all.
... if the left-wing power-mongers are Saudi Arabia's bitch, then explain this:
"Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal owns a 7 percent stake in News Corp — the parent company of Fox News — making him the largest shareholder outside the family of News Corp CEO Rupert Murdoch."
The left wing is Saudi Arabia's bitch?
"Hey King Abdullah, how are things goin' dude?"
"They're going great Georgie, now give Daddy a kiss!"
MWAHHHH! LOVE YOU KINGIE!
"Hey Georgie! I got a shiny medal for you!"
"Let me BOW DOWN to you, oh great Kingie!"
