Run with the Bulls in Toledo

About the King Wamba Carnival Parade :

Toledo’s Historic Old West End Festival begins with the neighborhoods traditional, The King Wamba Carnival Parade! Called "Toledo's best and most eccentic parade!!" by the Toledo City Parade, "Wamba" celebrates the birth of summer by paying homage to Toledo’s grand, but short-lived Mardi Gras festival of 1909.

The King Wamba Carnival Parade showcases the cultural and ethnic diversity unique to Toledo’s Old West End Neighborhood. Individuals representing at least six states are expected to journey to Toledo, to create a visual odyssey of art cars, floats, performance art and musical presentations.

The grand finale will be a procession carrying our 2008 King Wamba and Queen Sancha, Dustin and Jemma Hostetler. At noon, join us at the Main Festival Stage for the King Wamba and Queen Sancha Coronation Ceremony and a special presentation from Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner.

I believe a couple Toledo Talkers will be the King and Queen. Dustin is upso, and Jemma is jhostetler.

Not to be missed! Have fun. And remember the Jazz Loop the night before until midnight.

If I don't support real animal cruelty, should I support simulated animal cruelty? :)

Why not the hopping of the frogs? Bulls are not swamp creatures and plus it's a reference to the that RATM song and it might give Dennis Hopson pause.
