Ice Jam in Grand Rapids

sounds like a good name for a band, but no, there's a 10 foot ice jam already backing water up over the banks in GR, per the helpful folks in Cleveland. Hope everyone is ok and there's no major damage. Is it spring already?

I'd like to see that. I really would. Or maybe it'll jam up against the MLK bridge and flood downtown Toledo!

I remember flooding one year in Pburg when my folks lived there. After it receded a bit, we went down to the end of Maple ST to the boat access and there were huge blocks of ice and fish in huge puddles up in people's yards. I felt bad for them. The fish, not the ice blocks.
