Zingos. Yum.

Tried Zingos in P burg a couple of times.

Yum.

Food was great each time and prices are very reasonable for quality and quantity served.

Salads: great and large.
Gyro: tasty and huge. Cheap.
Grape leaves: maybe the best I have had.
Hummus: fresh and tangy. Slightly coarse.
Shish kabob: grilled steak and a nice rice pilaf.

I searched and didn't find a previous thread, so if there is one, I apologize. Also, I have no idea who owns this place, so this is a purely unsolicited review.

My wife loves the warm fig and goat cheese salad - I think it a special, not regular menu. Everything you listed is good, but try the falafel and the tawook and the kafta sandwiches. Get them "zingo style" - pita is grilled after sandwich is assembled.
Yep, great, local food.

I don't think that they do shawarma. I imagine that they could do a version of it. Maybe not the full-on turkish shawarma with all the possible mixed meats. Maybe shawarma, zingo style. :D

The tawook and kafta sandwiches are on my list for return trips.

Maybe they will make you a tawook with a mix of chicken and gyro and then put a little tahini on it.

"tahini" It might just be my plebeian construct but do you have a side job working for all the search engines on the web? Hamburgers and fries forever.

They have home delivery after 5:00 as well with a $20 dollar minimum purchase. Everything I've had is always delicious and fresh. Yum indeed.

Absolutely no offense intended. Am not a cook and have not even heard of a lot of ingredients. Going to the back of the cave until winter is over.

The wife and I get the junk salad all the time. HIGHLY recommended. Also love the feta salsa.
