Foreclosure Trashout/ Property Preservation Business

Myself and a few "underemployed" cohorts are interested in getting into the foreclosure trashout/property preservation business. I have a reliable crew assembled and ready to get their hands dirty. Our only issue, which is the largest issue, is finding the work through the proper channels. Finding the marketing contacts with real estate agents and banks involved has deemed challenging. We are wondering...how does one get on the list of vendors to supply the work needed for this industry???

You might want to offer your services to the Lucas county landbank.

Maybe search the out-of-town mortgage companies and ask them if you can assist them. Tell them that they can keep your number and call you in a pinch for a local reliable quick response. Then use any resulting "resume" to pitch the more local banks.
Just a thought.

I have seen folks asking for that service on Craigslist, but it is Craigslist so what you get is what you get from there.

Dino - my mom rehabs properties for rent/resale. She is pretty active in the local real estate investors group - REIA - http://toledoreia.com/

They have monthly meetings. I would contact them for a start - see if they'd let you talk at a meeting, or be added to their list of vendors.
